International fraud targeting therapists

Many therapists internationally are receiving email requests to take on a new client. The text of the email (which I have attached) goes like this: a father—often using a "common" name like David Jones—seeks a therapist for his 19-year-old son, offers to pay the full amount upfront (a large sum), and provides his son's email address so you can contact him directly. This is an international scam.

N.B. In the attached email, I have removed the domain from the email address because the scammer contacted me via my website; consequently, the email address displayed my provider's domain, and the provider is neither responsible for nor involved in the scam.
