Every person has all the resources they need according to IFS therapy.

We are used to labeling with a diagnosis what is problematic for us and we want to get rid of this burden as soon as possible.

Often this strategy does not work, because the more we fight, the bigger the burden becomes or changes.

What if instead of fighting it, we observe it with curiosity and compassion?

According to the IFS (Internal Family System), our mind is not a single block, but is composed of a set of Parts with their own range of emotions, thoughts, sensations, styles of expression, desires, abilities.

To better understand this nuance, I offer you some small examples: have you ever heard a friend, a family member or yourself speak with a different voice in a specific and determined situation? Or walk with your head held high, confident or on the contrary with your eyes down and shoulders hunched?

Being curious to discover the Parts that make up your internal system will help you find and unleash your potential.

As R. Schwartz, the founder of IFS therapy, writes, there are no bad Parts: all have the goal of helping the system, that is, ourselves, to be well.
